The privacy of everyone who visits the Site, gets in touch, buys an artwork or joins a workshop matters to me a great deal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"legal-intro\">This document explains what information is collected, how it is used, who it is shared with and what your rights are. It was written in accordance with the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, and its regulations, including the Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 5777-2017. Using the Site constitutes consent to this policy.<\/p>\n<div class=\"legal-tldr\">\n<h2>In Short<\/h2>\n<ul><li>Only the information needed to get back to you and handle a purchase, commission or workshop registration is collected.<\/li><li>Your information is never sold, rented or passed to anyone not essential to the service.<\/li><li>The Site has no online payment. For any privacy question, contact avi.cassouto@gmail.com or +972-50-5311748.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"legal-section\" id=\"s2\">\n<h2>What Information Is Collected<\/h2>\n<h3>Information You Provide<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"legal-list\"><li>The contact form: name, email address, phone number and the content of your message, as well as the page it was sent from.<\/li><li>Buying an artwork: full name, phone, email and shipping address, and for cancellations also an ID number, as required by the regulations.<\/li><li>Registering for a workshop or lesson: name and contact details, and information about sensitivity to materials, if you choose to provide it.<\/li><li>Contact via WhatsApp, phone or social media: your details and the content of the conversation.<\/li><\/ul>\n<h3>Information Collected Automatically<\/h3>\n<p>While you browse, technical information may be collected, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you viewed and the time of your visit. It is collected in server logs and essential cookies, and is used to operate and secure the Site. The IP address of anyone who submits the contact form is kept briefly to protect against spam.<\/p>\n<p class=\"legal-note\">You are not legally required to provide any information. However, without contact details I will not be able to get back to you.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"legal-section\" id=\"s3\">\n<h2>How the Information Is Used<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"legal-list\"><li>Answering inquiries and discussing an artwork, a commission or the workshops.<\/li><li>Handling a purchase: arranging shipping or pickup, issuing a receipt and a certificate of authenticity.<\/li><li>Placing you in a workshop and scheduling sessions.<\/li><li>Operating and securing the Site, including spam protection.<\/li><li>Complying with legal obligations, such as keeping accounting records.<\/li><\/ul>\n<p>Your information will not be used for any other purpose without your consent.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"legal-section\" id=\"s4\">\n<h2>Where the Information Is Stored<\/h2>\n<p>Messages from the contact form are sent to Avi's email inbox, and a copy is also kept in the Site's system as a backup in case a message is not delivered. The Site is hosted by a hosting company on secure servers.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"legal-section\" id=\"s5\">\n<h2>Sharing Information with Third Parties<\/h2>\n<p>Your personal information is never sold, rented or traded. It is shared with others only in these cases:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"legal-list\"><li>Essential service providers: the Site's hosting company, the email provider, the shipping company (name, address and phone for delivery) and the accountant. Each receives only the information it needs.<\/li><li>When required by law, a court order or a competent authority.<\/li><li>In a legal dispute between you and the Artist, to the extent needed to resolve it.<\/li><\/ul>\n<p>Some service providers, such as the email provider, store information on servers outside Israel. In that case, the transfer complies with the Privacy Protection (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations, 5761-2001. Contact via WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram is also subject to Meta's privacy policy.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"legal-section\" id=\"s6\">\n<h2>Payments<\/h2>\n<p>The Site has no payment page and no online checkout. Payment for an artwork, a commission or a workshop is made directly to Avi. This means credit card details are never entered into, passed through or stored on the Site.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"legal-section\" id=\"s7\">\n<h2>Cookies and Embedded Content<\/h2>\n<p>Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your device. The Site uses essential cookies only, to work properly and to remember your cookie choice. As of the last update, the Site has no analytics or advertising cookies. If any are added in the future, they will only be activated after you approve them in the cookie notice.<\/p>\n<p>Some content on the Site is loaded from external services: the Google map on the contact page, and fonts and icons from Google and Cloudflare servers. These services may receive your IP address, and their use is subject to their own privacy policies.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"legal-section\" id=\"s8\">\n<h2>Marketing Messages<\/h2>\n<p>The Site does not send a newsletter. If updates or marketing messages are sent in the future, they will go only to people who asked for them, in accordance with Section 30A of the Communications (Telecommunications and Broadcasting) Law, 5742-1982, and you will always be able to unsubscribe.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"legal-section\" id=\"s9\">\n<h2>Data Security<\/h2>\n<p>The Site takes reasonable, accepted measures to protect your information: communication with the Site is encrypted (HTTPS), access to its systems is restricted and password-protected, and backups are made regularly.<\/p>\n<p>No system is completely immune, so absolute protection against unauthorized access cannot be guaranteed. If a serious security incident occurs, I will act as required by law.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"legal-section\" id=\"s10\">\n<h2>How Long Information Is Kept<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"legal-list\"><li>Inquiries and correspondence are kept as long as needed to handle them and stay in touch with you.<\/li><li>Purchase and payment details are kept for the period required by law, including tax law.<\/li><\/ul>\n<p>At the end of that period, the information is deleted or kept in a form that does not identify you.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"legal-section\" id=\"s11\">\n<h2>Your Rights<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"legal-list\"><li>Right of access: to see the information held about you.<\/li><li>Right to correction and deletion: to ask that inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information be corrected or deleted.<\/li><li>Opting out: to ask that your information not be used for direct marketing.<\/li><\/ul>\n<p>To exercise these rights, email avi.cassouto@gmail.com with your name and the details your request concerns. A minor may join a workshop only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
