Everyone deserves to browse the Site with dignity, independence and ease, and to enjoy the art without barriers. The Site was built with this in mind, and I keep improving it.
This statement was prepared in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adaptations) Regulations, 5773-2013.
In Short
- The Site has been made accessible according to Israeli Standard 5568 at level AA, based on WCAG 2.0, as far as possible.
- The entire Site can be browsed with a keyboard alone, with a clear focus indicator.
- There is a "skip to content" link, alternative text for images and labels for form fields.

Accessibility Level
The Site has been made accessible according to Israeli Standard 5568 at level AA, based on the W3C's WCAG 2.0 guidelines, as far as possible.
Accessibility was built into the Site's code rather than added with an external plugin, so that it works with the screen readers and magnifiers already installed on your computer or phone.
What Has Been Made Accessible
- Keyboard navigation: every link, button and form field can be reached with the Tab key, without a mouse.
- Clear focus indicator: the element in focus is marked with a visible outline, so you always know where you are.
- A "skip to content" link at the top of every page lets you jump past the menu straight to the content.
- Accessible gallery: any artwork can be opened with the keyboard, browsed with the arrow keys and closed with Esc.
- Alternative text for images, and form field labels that screen readers announce.
- Responsive layout for every screen size, including zoom up to 200% without content being cut off.
- Respect for the operating system's reduced motion setting: if you asked for less motion, you get a site without animations or automatic slide changes.
- Language and direction: Hebrew pages are marked as Hebrew, right to left, and the Site is also available in English, left to right.
Known Limitations
I want to be honest about what isn't perfect yet:
- Gallery images have general alternative text, with the artist's name and category, rather than a detailed description of each work. If you would like a description of a specific artwork, write to me and I'll send it.
- Some buttons have color contrast below the AA requirement. I am working on it.
- The Google map, the WhatsApp button and the cookie notice come from external services, and their accessibility is beyond my control.
- No audit by a certified accessibility professional has been carried out yet. Accessibility was built in during development and is checked on an ongoing basis.

The workshops take place at the studio at 19 David P. Marz St., in the Ramat Sharet neighborhood of Jerusalem.
